Saturday Snapshots

I am linking up with Run! Miss Nelson's Got the Camera! to share some random pics from my week.

Princess A had her very first riding lesson on Thursday. I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of her! When I watched her climb onto her (big!!) horse for the first time, my heart just swelled. She was competent, confident, and focused: she's a natural.

I think we'll be paying for riding lessons for a long time to come!

We had a ton of rain here at the end of the week, and the kids were staring to go a little stir crazy by yesterday evening and they were getting into everything. When I couldn't find Deedle for a few minutes, I got a little worried. I found this:

Yes, that's him in the shower...with the dog. I suppose I should be grateful that the water wasn't running!

Typically, Deedle tortures our poor Border Collie (Princess A, however, constantly showers him with hugs and kisses). But once in awhile, I stumble upon a sweet moment like this:

I'm hooked on creating Teacher Binders. Seriously. I may have a problem. I made a black-and-white polka dot themed one for myself, and I just made a pink-and-black chevron themed one for SpurDog.

Both Teacher Binders are on sale for $4.00 in my TPT store!

I got all of the materials that I need to made a wreath for my classroom, kind of like this one:

Mine is going to have a ladybug theme...can't wait to get started on it! I just have to find a time to work on it when I won't have two little helpers, getting into everything!

Heading to Hobby Lobby (for the first time!!!) on Monday with my kiddos and one of my favorite people! I'm so excited to spend time with her and to explore the crafty wonderland that is Hobby Lobby!

Have a great weekend!

  1. Great photos! There's nothing quite as cute as a boy and his dog. And it's okay that you might have a 'problem' when it comes to making teacher binders. You're going to need all the income you can get to pay for years and years and years of riding lessons. We started with a riding lesson and ended up with 5 horses and traveling the show circuit for a few years. It's kind of like If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.....one thing just leads to another. It was all worth it though!
