I know I've been talking about this for days (and it's probably a sad commentary on my life), but I (finally!) made the trip to Hobby Lobby for the first time today. Holy craftiness, Batman. I could have spent
Deedle can rock a multi-colored feather boa with style.
I was there to look for work stuff, but I couldn't resist picking up something cute for the family room.
This adorable wall art now hangs about my couch. The pics on either side are some of my favorite shots of the kiddos when they were younger.
I also picked up black and white polka dot bandanas to create the no-sew curtains for my classroom that I saw on Pinterest.
After I got home, I busted out the laminator and got to work. I created new Daily Five labels for my baskets, using a great classroom decor set I bought earlier in the school year and Scrappin' Doodles clip art.
I also created supply labels (with the same decor set and graphics) and hot glued them to adorable lime green baskets that I picked up at Dollar Tree last month.
And finally, I decided to go the pennant route when creating headings for teach of my content bulletin boards. So....

I realize that I didn't make anything super crafty, but I am ending the day with a nice sense of accomplishment. I feel like I'm taking (baby) steps toward being prepared for the upcoming school year. I got a peek at my class list for the first time today, too. Yay!
Head over to 4th Grade Frolics and link up! I can almost guarantee that you're craftier than I am...
I love your Family sign. It looks great! I have some of those same green baskets. How do you keep your tags attached? Mine keeping falling off!
