I'll admit, I'm kind of excited about my next project. I started using a Teacher Binder about three years ago to keep all of my important papers organized. I love being able to grab it and go before staff meetings, IEP meetings, and parent/teacher conferences. Everything I need is in my binder, including to-do lists for the week, lesson planner, grade book, and parent contact information.
I've updated my Black and White Polka Dot Teacher Binder for the 2016-2017 school year, and I love how it turned out! I love it so much, in fact, that I'd love to give one away! Just enter the giveaway below for a chance to win one. But first, take a peek at what's inside. {Did I mention that the entire pack is editable???}
Front cover.
Binder spines.
I use these weekly planners to keep me on track {especially since I'm notorious for having "issues" with pacing}.
{NEW this year!} I am loving these new lists! I have these copied, hole-punched, and at the ready at the front of my binder. You could either write your lists for the week directly on the pages provided OR you could laminate the page and write your lists on Post-Its.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by, Pam! :)
DeleteI love to do lists and polka dots! Awesome job!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stephanie! I'd be lost without my to-do lists...I'd never get anything done! :)
DeleteI love the black and white on the planner. I think that is a great tool for getting organized. I tend to be a scattered mess.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words, Kari! I'm a big fan of black and white, too...it's a little easier on the ol' printer! :)
DeleteYour summer break so far sounds like my dream plans. I have brought laziness to a whole new level this summer. Love your Teacher Binder!

Thanks, Alison! I swear, I have plans to be more productive at some point, but right now, I'm just enjoying being lazy for a little while! :)
DeleteNo shame in the laziness game... we teachers have earned our lazy time (in my humble opinion). And I love a good to-do list, more so making it cute than actually completing it, but you get the idea :) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, Kelli! We definitely have earned the right to be lazy! And let's be honest, even when we're relaxing, we're still thinking about school! :)
DeleteI started out my break with a lot of napping and reading, too! It is essential!
ReplyDeleteGlad you've taken some time for yourself! We teachers need to rest, relax, and regroup! Enjoy your summer! :)
DeleteYour binder looks awesome! Organization is always a happy place for me...not that I find it that often but when I do, I'm happy! Love your cute little to do lists! Great idea!!! Thanks for linking up:)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tara! :)
DeleteI think allowing yourself some downtime in the summer is critical. We work so hard during the school that relaxing time is definitely earned. I like your to do lists. It's always helpful to get things accomplished if you get to cross them off a list (or delete them) once they are done.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
